  Join the Bluff Birdathon - like a walkathon, except you count birds instead of distance! Anyone can participate: from beginners to birding pros.

  Pick any day between April 18-26 to visit Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill and identify as many species as possible during your visit. Pick up self-guided bird checklists or borrow a pair of binoculars at the Visitors Center to get started.

  For those with a competitive side, the Bluff Birdathon Photo Competition will award winners with bragging rights and a special highlight on our website and social media.

  Rules:

  1. Photo must include a bird

  2. Photo must be taken at Kreische Brewery/Monument Hill between April 18-26, 2026

  3. All entries must be submitted to KBMH@thc.texas.gov by April 30th
